Brandi Stone

Biography



bstone.pngBrandi Stone works as the Mentoring Black Students' Academic Excellence Collaborator at UNM African American Student Services and Special Advisor to the President on African American Affairs. She is passionate about Black student success through culture center work. Her research interest focuses on the lived experiences of Black college students and Black women's leadership in academic spaces. Brandi is an advocate for inclusive spaces for Black community to thrive within academia.


She received her master's degree in Public Administration from the University of New Mexico and is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Higher Education Leadership from New Mexico State University. She also serves as a national board member for the Association of Black Culture Centers. She is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.
